Today has been a good day on the news front. We found out some pretty awesome stuff today that we are dying to tell everyone but we’ll just need to sit on it for the time being. We already have some cool stuff we’re sitting on, but the list seems to be getting bigger which is nice. 

Here’s some stuff that we are doing just now :

- Next Thursday is this years Scottish Alternative Music Awards at the Glasgow Garage. As far as I’m aware there are still tickets left, so go buy one and come along and have a good night. 

I’m pretty sure today is the last day for voting, so go do us a solid favour and vote for us in the ‘metal’ category. You can do this by going to :www.officialsama.co.uk/vote           There is no sign-ups or emails required, will take a few seconds. 

- We mentioned a couple of weeks ago that our friend and bassist Sean Walker was going to leave the band due to personal circumstances. We are delighted to say that he will no longer be leaving and that once he is married in April he will be continuing as The Recovery! bassist. 

- Our new single ‘Vulture Club’ that was given an exclusive play 2 weeks ago on BBC Radio 1 introducing with Ally McCrae, will be released on Monday 2nd April through all good online retailers (Distributed by Glasgow based EMU BANDS - Check them out!)

- We will also be doing a live session on BBC Radio 1 for Ally McCrae shortly (We will confirm a date when we know one!)

- Also incase you didn’t already know, our 3 track EP ‘This One’s For The Lovers…’ is available for FREE download over at www.therecovery.bandcamp.com
